Hi, I’m Maki
I specialize in outdoor & adventure photography, because it’s where I feel most alive. I’m a tramper (the kiwi way of saying, hiker), and I always liked those amazing photos when we got to that amazing view & we were with that friend who has a camera, was happy to take it with, and shoots great photos.
Most of those make it to our profile pictures, as they show a beautiful memory and accomplishment at the same time. It even shows what we are passionate about - the outdoors!
So, I decided I wanted to become that buddy - outdoor photography for the outdoor people.
The whole point is actually going up a mountain together, having a great time, exploring & climbing - and, as a bonus, getting that shot.
